Undone by a host of second-half turnovers, the Vaughn College Warriors fell to 4-4 this season, losing 78-51 to Lehman College last Tuesday (Nov. 23) in their final game before the Thanksgiving break.

Vaughn trailed only 21-20 at halftime, but a series of second-half turnovers by the Warriors enabled Lehman to pull away after intermission. Vaughn committed 27 turnovers in the game compared with 17 for Lehman.

Vaughn was led by freshman Joe Douglas, who had 14 points on 5-for-8 shooting. Rupy Avila added 10 points. Douglas also had four rebounds. Lehman was led by Samuel Batista, who had 20 points.
