In previous years the Brooklyn College Bulldogs have dominated the Vaughn Warriors. On Wednesday, at the West Quad Center, the Warriors, led by freshman guard Michael Pena, were able to erase a huge second half deficit and defeat Brooklyn College in overtime 97-94. This was the first time that Vaughn defeated Brooklyn College and was the Warriors first win against a CUNY school opponent.

Many players contributed to the win. Pena had a game and career high 31 points; senior forward Jeffrey Noel, who played for the Bulldogs last year, recorded his first double-double of the season scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds; and senior captain guard Jared Ndiba scored a season high 18 points and eight rebounds.

The Warriors, now 5-1, will play Friday, December 6 at York College at 8 p.m.
