Vaughn College’s Robotics Team competed against 12 teams in the VEX U regional qualifier on Saturday, January 27 in the hangar. Team VCAT received the tournament champion and robot skills winner awards.

This win qualifies the team to advance to the 2018 VEX U Worlds Competition.

“This win confirms that the team is in a great position to compete at the Worlds,” said Bilal Rashid ’18, former president of the Vaughn College Robotics Team. “We are excited and ready to reclaim the title this year.”

Worcester Polytechnic Institute from Worcester, MA received the tournament finalist award and Kennesaw State University from Marietta, GA received the excellence award. These awards qualify both teams for the World competition.
