On Thursday, April 5 the office of career services hosted its Spring career fair. More than 65 employers from airlines, airports, design and manufacturing firms and more gathered in the hangar to network with Vaughn students. Attendees had the opportunity to meet with employers and learn about internship and job opportunities.

“Even though we expect to provide training to applicants, we like to see when students come prepared,”said Balkarran Khublall, lead aviation maintenance technician for Delta TechOps. “Delta has a good relationship with the College, which is why we were thrilled when we recently established an official partnership.”

Vaughn’s Career fairs are a testament to the College’s commitment to student success. Ninety-eight percent of Vaughn graduates are employed or continuing their education within one year, eighty-two percent in a related field.

“This is a great way for the students to see what employers are looking for in potential hires,” said Sean Manning, internship coordinator for career services.
