Vaughn College hosted a student-focused family weekend and invited the families of new and continuing students back to campus for a day of fun activities on Saturday, October 13. The student affairs office gave a welcome address and later on split into groups for sessions with instructors in the flight simulators. There were demonstrations by the Robotics Team, as well as the UAV club who flew drones through an obstacle course in the hangar.

Groups participated in miniature golf and larger versions of the games jenga, checkers, kerplunk and connect four, which drew onlookers that cheered during energetic rounds filled with fun competition in the hangar.

“The Vaughn community always encourages families on campus to see how students are progressing through the semester,” said Elaine White, dean of students.
