The office of career services organized a trip to provide Vaughn students the opportunity to visit the Con Edison East River Generating Station located in Manhattan to learn about the innovative technologies shaping the future of energy and career prospects in the field. The site tour provided an up-close look at Con Edison’s cutting-edge facilities and gave students the opportunity to learn and network with industry professionals working in the energy sector. Students were impressed with Con Edison’s commitment in providing efficient energy services to disadvantaged communities and the immense scale of the machinery behind generation, transmission and distribution.
