Seven Vaughn students were selected for summer internships by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and are currently working in the New York Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON). Through this program, students will be able to capitalize on their academic studies through meaningful work experience and developmental activities. The result will be an enhanced professional knowledge, expertise and practical experience to help chart their career paths with the FAA.

Student’s Christopher Burgos ’23, Caridad Carattini ’19, Kevin Ferrara ’23, Vanessa Munoz ’22, Branden Perez ’23, Fatin Saumik ’21 and Vanwillis Vo ’19 began their internships on Monday, June 10.

“We are happy that the FAA has selected more of our students for their summer internships,” said Becky Falto, internship coordinator. “These programs supplement the transformational education that the students receive, which will ready them for their careers.”
