More than 20 Vaughn students attended the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) National Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. The convention brings together more than 9,000 Hispanic scientists, mathematicians and engineers to celebrate and network with one another and attend educational workshops. Students were thrilled to connect with industry leaders, engage in insightful workshops and explore cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of engineering.

“Networking with professionals from various fields has not only expanded my professional circle, but also opened doors to new opportunities,” said Vaughn electrical engineering major Brian Benjamin ’24. “It’s incredible to witness the strength that comes from a community dedicated to pushing STEM fields to the next level and empowering underrepresented voices.”
