Simarjti Singh ’25 was one of eight recipients awarded a $2,500 scholarship from the Regional Air Cargo Carriers Association (RACCA). Singh currently works operations at Heritage Flight Academy and will soon earn his instrument rating. Additionally, Singh was one of the first students at the College to earn his private pilot certification. He takes a keen interest in the workings of engines to better handle the aircraft should problems arise. In his spare time Singh occasionally watches aviation documentaries to learn crucial skills such as crew resource management.

RACCA awards scholarships to students to foster continuing education in pursuing aviation careers.
