Assistant professor Yougashwar Budhoo will present a paper titled “Effect of Temperature on the Low-Velocity Impact of Hybrid Composites” at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers’ 2010 Congress and Exposition in Vancouver, British Columbia later this month.

Dr. Budhoo, 28, is a 2005 graduate of Vaughn who earned his PhD from the City University of New York. He specializes in composite material study.

The ASME conference is among the largest international gatherings of engineers, scientists and researchers annually. This year’s keynote event is a panel discussion on energy technology and policy.
