Vaughn Player Named Conference Rookie of the Week

Vaughn College Warriors freshman guard Joe Douglas has been named Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for his performances in games against Sarah Lawrence College, John Jay College and St. Joseph’s College last week.

Douglas, from Hempstead, on Long Island, averaged 13-plus points and nearly four rebounds per game in the three contests, including 16 points and five rebounds in a loss at St. Joseph’s on Nov. 18.
