Headed by the office of student affairs, November 12 marked the official start of spirit week at Vaughn College. Spirit week is a themed celebration to showcase Vaughn pride with campuswide celebrations and events. The week consisted of the second annual Vaughn College pep rally leading up to the homecoming game where both the men’s and women’s basketball teams beat their opponents in intense games.

The week also featured fundraisers from campus organizations such as Circle K for their Eliminate Project, which provides funds for vaccinations for young children around the world. The College also accommodated students with Commuter Day, during which the office of student affairs provided free giveaways such as travel mugs and t-shirts to students who live off-campus. Other events included spirituality hour, international student day, girl’s night in and spa/barbershop day, which caters to all students with massages and free haircuts in the lower level lounge.
