In April, the Vaughn College Student Affairs Department hosted virtual information sessions for the parents and families of current students. The sessions were implemented to highlight the College’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the initiatives taken towards aiding students and their families.

More than 45 families tuned in to both virtual events and were able to express their concerns surrounding the pandemic and have any questions they may have about their student’s success with the College answered.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the many families who have joined us for our virtual sessions,” expressed Kelli Smith, vice president of student affairs. “These meetings have provided an open dialogue that will only help us to better support students in their success while collectively navigating the unknown circumstances before us.”

Tune into the next information session on Thursday, May 28 at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom. Parents and families should contact Kelli Smith, vice president of student affairs, at for Zoom meeting number and password.
