More than 300 students filed into Vaughn College’s hangar for the office of career services’ annual spring career fair on Thursday, April 9. The fair provides Vaughn students with a chance to meet potential employers in the fields of engineering, technology, management and aviation, and to learn more about job and internship opportunities. More than 100 representatives from 67 companies were in attendance at the fair.

“This was a very successful fair,” said Phillip Meade, executive director of career services. “We were excited to see so many of our students interacting with people they may meet or find work with in their career paths after they graduate from Vaughn.”

Vaughn students also find the career fair to be helpful to their job search.

“I’ve met a lot of people in aviation management at these fairs,” said Jeisson Correa ’15, an airport management major. “It’s a great way to get a glimpse at what path my career may take after graduation.”

The office of career services will host its next career fair in the fall 2015 semester.
