On Thursday, April 11 the office of career services hosted its Spring career fair. More than 55 employers from airlines, airports, design and manufacturing firms and more gathered in the hangar to network with Vaughn students. Attendees had the opportunity to meet with employers and learn about internship and job opportunities.

“I like to see when students come prepared, and today I had a good interview with a student that impressed me,” said Kerry Jannicelli, human resources generalist and recruiter for Dassault Falcon Jet. “Also, my grandfather was formerly the president of the Academy of Aeronautics in the 1980s and to see how the College has grown is wonderful.”

Vaughn’s Career fairs are a testament to the College’s commitment to student success. Ninety-six percent of Vaughn graduates are employed or continuing their education within one year, eighty percent in a related field.

“This is a great way for the students to see what employers are looking for in potential hires,” said Becky Falto, internship coordinator for career services.
