The International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) Foundation awarded more than $30,000 in individual scholarships to eight students seeking a career in business aviation. Among the eight were two current Vaughn College students, Bowie Tam ’20 and Jenelle Samuel ’22.

The foundation administers the organization’s Business Aviation Scholarship Program which aids students in completing academic goals in preparation for careers in business aviation.

The scholarship program was established for university students seeking a career in business aviation and the winners were chosen from applicants that are full-time undergraduate and graduate students majoring in aerodynamics, aircraft systems, corporate aviation management, aviation safety and other studies that relate to aviation business and management.

“IADA’s commitment to the future of our industry is demonstrated in our organization’s support for these deserving students,” expressed, Wayne Starling, executive director of the IADA. “They are the best and brightest of our future business aviation leaders, who will be joining the ranks of business aviation professionals.”
