Vaughn College’s New Student Orientation for students beginning classes in Spring 2012 will be held in three sessions in January. The sessions are designed to assist incoming students in achieving their educational goals and in the transition to college life.

Sessions are scheduled for Thursday, January 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Thursday, January 12 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; and Thursday, January 12 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. In the event of a delayed opening Jan. 5, orientation will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. If the college is closed Jan. 5, orientation will be held Jan. 6 based on the original schedule. In the event of a delayed opening Jan. 12, orientation will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. only. If the college is closed Jan. 12, orientation will be held Jan. 13 based on the original schedule.

The sessions provide students with the opportunity to meet future classmates; learn about the campus and its resources; meet faculty in their potential degree majors; and get involved in campus activities and leadership.
