The Vaughn College Warriors built on an 18-point halftime lead and defeated Pratt Institute, 75-60, Friday (Dec. 3).

The Warriors were led by Mahdi Macbahi, who had 29 points, 12 rebounds and three steals. Vaughn held a 40-22 halftime lead and increased it to 27 points before Pratt chipped away late.

“It was our scrappiness and determination that led to the victory,” coach Amy Mulligan said. The Warriors, now 5-4 this season, play New Jersey City University on Wednesday (Dec. 8).
