Open Campus Meeting held to Revise Vision and Mission Statement
On Wednesday, February 22 an open campus meeting was held by members of the vision and mission committee who presented their work on revising the organizational guiding principles. Months of diligent work by the committee members included every aspect of the statements to describe the institution.
President DeVivo gave special thanks to students Daniela Tabares ’19 and Jonathan Hernandez ’18, faculty Joseph Zych and Lara Merlin, trustees Joseph Werner and Peter Vaughn, and senior staff Robert Waldmann and Ernie Shepelsky who made up the committee.
Based on the feedback from the open campus meeting and from the community, the committee made their final changes. The board subsequently approved the vision and mission statements below:
To change the world one student at a time with a transformational education that creates a lifetime of opportunity.
To provide a dynamic learning environment built on our aeronautical heritage that inspires a diverse and committed community of students to achieve success as leaders in the industries we serve.
