On Thursday, September 8, Vaughn College welcomed new and returning students to the fall 2022 semester.  

Elaine T. White, assistant vice president for student affairs and dean of students, introduced new students to the campus operations and provided tips on how to manage hybrid modalities and the importance of the College’s core values. White also introduced the new 2022-23 Student Government Association officers. 

Vaughn President Dr. Sharon B. DeVivo also welcomed students reminding them that starting college brings forth a new type of resiliency which can aid them in becoming successful in their career trajectories.  

To conclude the ceremony, students, faculty and staff attended the ribbon cutting of the new West Wing cafeteria. The café is open Monday-Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.
