The Engineering and Technology Department has opened a new state-of-the-art mechatronic laboratory to support its degree in mechatronic engineering. The practice-oriented training devices, manufactured in Germany by Lucas-Nulle, feature instrumentation and automatic control technology. Mechatronic engineering is a synergistic approach that draws upon mechanical, electrical and computer engineering. Faculty members attended training in Germany this past May in anticipation of the new equipment.
