Vaughn College recently partnered with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) to host the TryEngineering summer camp program for middle and high school students. The camp also builds students’ critical analysis, communication and collaboration skills.

The 31 student campers take engineering classes in the morning and experience living on a college campus while they explore potential career paths. To supplement their academic classes, they take part in sports and activity outings in the evening as well as trips throughout the Queens area and other parts of New York City.

Students participate in a college-readiness presentation by the admissions department.
