Renovations are currently underway to provide the Aviation Training Institute (ATI) with a newly designed, state-of- the-art facility in Astoria.  The 33,000 square foot space will include classrooms, laboratories, a lounge and faculty offices.

The first phase of renovation on the new building will be complete in mid-November to allow prospective student to visit the space during the November 9 and 16 open houses. Many first semester classes and laboratories will be offered there beginning in January 2014 with a continued phased move over the next two years for most of the courses. Some aspects of the program will continue to reside on the main campus for the long-term, including the larger aircraft, the test cell building and the new welding lab.

The renderings below show what the space will look like when completed.
