On Monday, February 13 Vaughn alumnus Jefferson Maldonado ’16 returned to the College to speak to current students about his career in robotic engineering at ArcBest Technologies, a subsidiary of ArcBest Corporation. The corporation provides innovative and up-to-date information technology solutions to other subsidiaries.

Maldonado received six job offers upon graduation and shared his advice on navigating the job seeking process leading up to, and after graduation.

“I landed my position when I graduated because I was prepared from the job fairs, and internship opportunities Vaughn provided,“ said Maldonado. “Keep your grades up but stay active, that’s what your employer will look for.”

Maldonado informed students that his company and many others are coming up with newer technology that will enhance daily life. Technology that will make new jobs in the industry and will reinforce a need for engineers in the future.
