On Tuesday, April 3 the management department continued the guest speaker series with Immigration Defense Attorney Evelyn Tossas Tucker who came to Vaughn to inform students about the US Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) policies.

With the rise of immigration to the US, ICE officers are conducting more searches and questioning more people. Tucker spoke to students about best practices when coming to and leaving the United States. Vaughn has a number of international students who are here on a student visa and have concerns about their current travel capabilities.

Tucker provided her professional advice and even stayed afterward for any personal questions. She ended by noting, “Don’t let your visa expire and always carry a copy of any important documents.”
