Vaughn invited new students to campus to ask questions and get answers to aid their college transition on Friday, January 11. Vaughn’s student affairs and admissions departments led the session and were accompanied by a speaker panel of faculty and staff that represented the different departments that students will interact with during the course of their academic career.

Students had the opportunity to meet with academic advisers and faculty, finalize their spring class schedules, tour the campus, and meet with fellow classmates and make friends.

“We understand that incoming students can be overwhelmed when they start and we want to give them knowledge of all of the resources that are available to them,” said Elaine White, dean of students. “Students being able to recognize the tool that will lead them to success is our priority.”

For students looking forward to getting more involved in campus life, the club and activities fair will be held on Thursday, January 24 in the main lobby. Click here for a list of active clubs.
