Representatives from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) held an information session at Vaughn College seeking driven individuals with an interest in air traffic control on Monday, May 28. Students were able to ask questions and were provided information on the FAA’s process of air traffic control training.

The FAA will release an announcement next month calling for applications and representatives are seeking to fill those positions with disciplined and qualified applicants.

Requirements:

• Be a United States Citizen
• Start the FAA Academy no later than your 31st birthday
• Be willing to relocate to an air traffic facility based on the FAA’s highest needs at the time
• Have three years of progressively responsible work experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree; or a combination of post-secondary education and work experience that totals three years
