Vaughn College’s New Student Orientation sessions for students beginning classes in Fall 2012 will be held in two-day sessions in August. The sessions are designed to assist incoming students in achieving their educational goals and in the transition to college life.

Sessions are scheduled for Wednesday, August 8 and Thursday, August 9; Wednesday, August 15 and Thursday, August 16; and Monday, August 20 and Tuesday, August 21. Students are required to check in from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the main lobby.

Those entering Vaughn with 30 credits or more completed can attend an orientation on Tuesday, August 14 from 2 to 5 p.m. or Tuesday, August 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Students pursuing a graduate degree must attend orientation on Tuesday, August 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. All international students will have an orientation on Friday, September 7 at 9 a.m.

The sessions provide students with the opportunity to meet future classmates; learn about the campus and its resources; meet faculty in their potential degree majors; and get involved in campus activities and leadership.
