The career services department at Vaughn College partnered with Endeavor Air to hold an information presentation and a tabling on Thursday, October 19. Endeavor Air staff met current students and informed them on how they can build their aviation maintenance career, and assisted students in reviewing resumes.

“Having guests from the industry on campus allows students to make a connection with the companies that they will be applying to upon graduation,” said Phil Meade, director of career services. “We aim for our students to be as prepared as possible and ready to enter the workforce.”

Rachele Johnson, human resources recruiter and Stephen Kingston, NY regional manager of maintenance spoke on “Aircraft Maintenance Technician Opportunities at Endeavor Air.” At the end of the presentation the floor was opened for questions to be answered from general questions to internship and career opportunities.

We have hired countless Vaughn grads who achieve success at Endeavor and move on to Delta Air Lines as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician,” said Johnson. “The program that students go through at Vaughn and then at Endeavor Air equips them to be prepared for major airline carriers and a career that they can be proud of.”
