Boy Scout members from all over the greater New York area came to Vaughn’s campus to earn an aviation merit badge in the badge pro series on Friday, January 19. The merit badge pro series uses badges as a platform for scouts to get facetime with industry experts and gain learning experience within those fields.

A total of 15 scouts participated in a fundamentals of flight class and were able to practice in simulations in Vaughn’s flight simulator complex.

“We look forward to Robotics next,” said Robert Colonna, district executive of Boy Scouts of America Greater New York Councils. “The Merit Badge Pro Series at Vaughn College today went very well.”
