Boeing Co. delivered the first of its newly remodeled 737 jets earlier this week, featuring several design changes it hopes will inspire passengers as the company contemplates the future of its best-selling jet.

Changes include multicolored LED lighting, larger overhead bins, increased headroom and added natural light. Boeing anticipates the redesign being a part of more than 1,200 of the 2,000 737s currently on order.
