On Thursday, February 8, students, faculty, family and friends gathered in the main lobby to recognize the academic achievements of Vaughn’s undergraduate and graduate students. The spring honors ceremony allows each department to highlight student achievements during the fall 2023 semester.

To begin the ceremony Dr. Paul LaVergne, vice president of academic affairs welcomed the students and their families to the event. Students receiving the faculty’s list award achieved a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.67; dean’s list award recipients achieved a grade point average of 3.68 and 3.84; and president’s list award recipients achieved a grade point average of 3.85 and 4.0. Following LaVergne’s address Dr. Peter Canellis, faculty senate president; Jonathan Sypeck, assistant professor, engineering and technology department; and President DeVivo presented students with individual certificates to recognize their achievements.
