Airport/Airline Management Major Robert Tocco ’22 represented Vaughn at the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and the Northeast Chapter American Association of Airport Executives (NEC-AAAE) annual conferences this summer. The AAAE conference which was hosted virtually focused on recovering from the losses of the pandemic and facing the new reality of future health threats, making travel comfortable post-pandemic, and increasing confidence and trust within the industry.
The in-person NEC-AAAE conference focused on how to bring back air travel safely and profitably post-pandemic, increasing diversity and inclusion in the workplace and looking ahead to the future.
“I enjoyed all events and hope that for future events others will have the possibility to go so more people get to experience what I did this summer,” said Tocco. He is the president of the AAAE student chapter.
