As the Vaughn College renovations continue this fall, College officials have been diligently working with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT) and the Department of Sanitation of New York (DSNY) to secure additional parking spaces for Vaughn students.

We are happy to announce that alternate side of the street parking restrictions related to street cleaning have been lifted through December 2012 on the following streets bordering the College:

23rd Avenue

The alternate side of the street parking restriction has been lifted on both the North and South sides of 23rd Avenue between 86th Street and 90thStreet.

90th Street

The alternate side of the street parking restriction has been lifted on both the North and South sides of 90th Street between Ditmars Boulevard and 23rd Avenue.

Ditmars Boulevard:

Parking on both sides of Ditmars Boulevard between 86th Street and 90th Street is now allowed, with the exception of areas marked “No Standing.” Please check signs before parking.

These changes will make it easier for students to find additional parking so they can focus on their education.  Future updates will continue to be made available at vaughn.edu and on the Vaughn portal.
