Pamela Sookralli

Pamela began her career at Vaughn Library as a part-time employee, while attending St. John’s University. A year later she was promoted to a full-time position. Throughout her years at Vaughn, she gained experience in administrative services, research and information services, and academic library services.

Her goals at the library are to meet the needs and growth of the Vaughn community by combining traditional duties with the continuing advancements in technology and information sources. The best feeling of validation is to assist a patron with their research inquiries. Reminding them of the vast information and services we have to offer is always a necessity. “A smile is a genuine gift that can possibly change the path of someone’s day.”
