Summer Engineering Experience Program

Take free courses that count towards your engineering degree!

The SEE-STEM program is a six-week residential program that will let you earn college credits towards your engineering degree and is open to high school seniors considering an engineering degree, community college transfer students and Vaughn freshmen or sophomore students with a GPA of 2.8 or better. The program is focused on student development through building leadership skills while preparing incoming students for college life both academically and socially. The first 10 applicants will receive free room for six weeks at Vaughn’s Residence Hall (based on their eligibility and GPA).

Eligibility:

  • High School Senior, C.C Transfer, current Vaughn rising freshmen or sophomores
  • GPA of 2.80 or better
  • Considering pursuing any B.S. degree in engineering or engineering technology.

How to Apply:

Fill out application here and email the following to Hossein Rahemi, chair of the engineering and technology department at :

  • Vaughn College and/or High School transcript
  • Personal Statement (500 words or less) discussing the reasons for joining the SEE program, academic and professional goals
