The College hosted a half-day discussion featuring several key members of the aviation community including the New York Power Authority, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), UPS, Joby Aviation and more. The objective of the discussion was to find major trends, key uncertainties and driving forces affecting innovation and the resulting transformation of the aviation sector. Once these were highlighted, the discussion then shifted to ways Vaughn College can respond to these changes and best prepare graduates to enter the changing workforce.

After a welcome introduction by Vaughn President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Sharon B. DeVivo, three sessions were held addressing key issues in the aviation sector. Additionally there were two keynote speakers featured including Mr. Laurence Wildgoose, FAA assistant administrator for policy, international affairs and environment and Dr. Russell Read, co-founder and managing partner, C Change Group, who discussed the Anchorage Alaska Airport Expansion (TBC).

At the conclusion of each session and keynote address, attendees from across the aviation and aerospace sector had the opportunity to share their thoughts regarding the current state of the aviation sector and how to respond to the needs of the future.
