Students, faculty, family and friends gathered in the main lobby to recognize the academic achievements of Vaughn’s undergraduate and graduate students. The spring honors ceremony allows each department to highlight student achievements for the fall 2024 semester.

To begin the ceremony Dr. Paul LaVergne, vice president of academic affairs welcomed the students and their families to the event. Following LaVergne’s address Dr. Margaret Ducharme, faculty senate president and arts and sciences associate professor; Jonathan Sypeck, assistant professor, engineering and technology department; and President DeVivo presented students with individual certificates to recognize their achievements.

Students receiving the faculty’s list award achieved a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.67; dean’s list award recipients achieved a grade point average of 3.68 and 3.84; and president’s list award recipients achieved a grade point average of 3.85 and 4.0.
