Thirty-six employers and more than 200 students gathered in the hangar for Vaughn’s spring career fair in March, hosted by career services. Attendees were able to learn about upcoming job and internship opportunities from industry professionals.

Companies like Con Edison, Delta Airlines, Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and Valcor Engineering were just a few of those in attendance. Of the employers, six were at the College for the first time, including Archer, Schenck USA, Corp. and U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.

“As a part of my orientation into Vaughn College, the spring 2025 career and internship fair on March 14th demonstrated outstanding collaboration of faculty, staff and employers. It was motivating to be amidst the buzz of energy and conversations as industry partners were welcomed.” said Mavis Hall, assistant director of career services. “Students engaged in identifying internship and employment opportunities, using skills developed during our career services bootcamp of workshops on resume writing, career prep and the dress for success fashion show.”

The next career fair is set to take place in the fall semester.
