
Vaughn Hosts 17th Annual Technology Day
The engineering and technology department hosted the 17th annual technology day in E101/103 highlighting the department’s accomplishments and new offerings. Attendees included advisory board members, alumni, trustees, students, staff and faculty. During the event, students presented their research papers with an opportunity to win the “Best Paper and Presentation” award.
The top three design papers were selected by industry advisory members. First place was awarded to Dominik Fital ’25, Ezra Jacobson ’25, and Malik Khuram ’25 for “Wireless Bike Braking System;” second place to Kristian Nievas ’25 and Yostina Ishak ’25 for “Adaptive Airfoil Technology,” and third place paper to Carlos J. Castillo ’25, Jean De La Rosa Balley ’25 and Joshua Samuel ’25 for “Rechargable Tennis Ball Collector.”
