Vaughn College will host the 6th Annual International Conference on Digital Technologies and Applications (ICDTA) on October 9 and 10, 2026 on its campus in Flushing, NY.

The conference is a hybrid event (in person and online) focused on the intersection of digital technologies, soft computing, and intelligent systems. It serves as a bridge between high-level engineering and practical business applications.

The primary mission of ICDTA is to provide a global platform for researchers and industry professionals to share original research and encourage the publication of scientifically valid, original papers that advance the understanding of digital methods and theories; foster collaboration allowing practitioners to discuss real-world problems and innovative solutions; and facilitate high-quality publications.

Key conference tracks typically include:

  • Artificial intelligence and data science
  • Robotics and embedded systems
  • Cloud computing and blockchain
  • Digital economy and smart energy

The expected attendance for the conference is 250 participants drawing researchers from more than 30 countries in person or online. Vaughn’s faculty will have the opportunity to find collaborators for future research papers or grant applications, and students from the College will be invited to attend and have an “open classroom” to the professional world.
