Vaughn College Students Place Second at Marist University Computing Conference
Vaughn College computer engineering students Cedric Green ’26, Junior Gonzalez ’26 and Winaldo Walker ’26 participated in the annual Computing Conference at Marist University on November 11, 2025 in Poughkeepsie, New York. There were 24 presentations at the conference on various topics such as cybersecurity, quantum computing and artificial intelligence. Green, Gonzalez and Walker delivered a presentation titled “Fortifying IoT Ecosystems: A Hybrid Security Framework with Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence,” and were awarded the second place People’s Choice Award for their hard work.
