Vaughn College hosted United Airlines Employer Engagement Day in the lobby on April 8. Students were able to connect directly with tech ops leaders to gain insight into possible career pathways in aviation maintenance.

Norm Kopicko, managing director of the Newark Liberty International Maintenance Hub and the northeast region, Tom Gleason, senior manager in the northeast region and Vincent Forgione, manager at LaGuardia Airport, were the representatives from United Airlines. They described their own careers and provided career advice to students. Following the talk, Kopicko, Gleason and Forgione hosted an hour-long question and answer session.

United Airlines is a continued employer partner of the College and their recent contribution to the student experience fund helped enhance the main lobby spaces that students use daily.
