
Vaughn College Hosts Spring Open House
On March 21, Vaughn College held its spring open house. More than 240 prospective students and their guests visited to learn about the College’s aviation, engineering and management degree programs, tour the campus and learn more about what life at Vaughn is like.
Vaughn College Assistant Vice President of Admissions Anna Ragno kicked off the day with welcome remarks followed by Vaughn’s President Dr. Sharon B. DeVivo. DeVivo introduced the attendees to the vision of the College — to change the world one student at a time with a transformational education that provides a lifetime of opportunity — and noted the nationwide No. 1 in upward mobility ranking Vaughn received which supports that vision. Attendees also heard about the Vaughn guarantee and the support they could expect from the academic services, career services and student affairs departments to help them succeed on their college journey and land their dream job.
Prospective students attended sessions on financial aid, scholarships and college affordability, to hear about ways to help finance their education, and academic and maintenance program sessions to learn about specific degree programs. Attendees also explored the student life and activities fair to hear from students representing clubs and student chapters of professional organizations.
The College will host accepted students day on April 25.
