Vaughn College Honors H. Lawrence Culp, Jr. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer GE Aerospace
Vaughn honored H. Lawrence Culp, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer for GE Aerospace at its tenth annual spring Gala. Josh Einiger, WABC Eyewitness News reporter served as the master of ceremonies for the event.
In addition to honoring Culp, the Gala hosted 300 attendees and raised more than $315,000 to support student experiences outside of the classroom. The program celebrated the diverse talents and achievements of Vaughn College students and graduates through a video highlighting their internship and career experiences, participation at professional conferences and in engineering and maintenance competitions. And a video from a presentation at Yale highlighting Vaughn’s ability to move students to the top in upward mobility was received with great enthusiasm.
“I feel optimistic about our future, especially on nights like tonight when I am surrounded by such promising talent as we have here at Vaughn College,” said Culp.
