The Girl Scouts of Nassau County attended the 4th Annual Aviation Day at LaGuardia Airport on October 23 sponsored by American Airlines and supported by Vaughn’s Women in Aviation student chapter. The event is designed to provide opportunities for girls to learn more about careers in aviation while meeting female aviation professionals. The day began at LaGuardia Gateway Partners Terminal B with remarks from President DeVivo. The girls then boarded an American Airlines plane and taxied to a hangar where there were tables of goodies and aviation information for the girls and their family members.
