Students, faculty, family and friends gathered in the main lobby to recognize the academic achievements of Vaughn’s undergraduate and graduate students. The spring honors ceremony allows each department to highlight student achievements for the spring 2025 semester.

To begin the ceremony Aviation Training Institute faculty member Brian Bermudez 18, presented awards to the College’s Aviation Maintenance Club team members on behalf of team sponsor PSA Airlines. The awards, donated by PSA, were in recognition of the team’s accomplishments at the Aerospace Maintenance Council competition held in April this year in Atlanta.

Dr. Margaret Ducharme, faculty senate president and arts and sciences associate professor; Jonathan Sypeck, assistant professor, engineering and technology department; and President DeVivo then presented students with individual certificates to recognize their academic achievements.

Students receiving the faculty’s list award achieved a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.67; dean’s list award recipients achieved a grade point average of 3.68 and 3.84; and president’s list award recipients achieved a grade point average of 3.85 and 4.0.
