More than 215 students and 25 employer partners filled the main lobby and the cafeteria in early October to attend Vaughn’s fall career fair hosted by career services. This year’s career fair saw a 100% increase in attendance from registered employers and exceeded the number of students who attended last year’s fair. Employers offered students information regarding careers and internship opportunities for the fall and spring semester. Companies in attendance included JetBlue, Lufthansa, conEdison, Easy Aerial, the Department of Transportation and many others. Several employers in attendance were Vaughn alumni returning to the College to recruit the next generation and included Marco Nogueira ’95 of LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions, Kamielia Sarran ’13 of JFK International Air Terminal and Hilain Hector ’16 from JetBlue. It was the first time at the career fair for representatives from LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions and Textron.
