The career services office hosted an employer engagement day with Amphenol Aerospace. Representatives from Amphenol spoke to students during an hour-long presentation on the history of Amphenol Aerospace and its role as one of the world’s largest manufacturers of interconnect products for the military, commercial aerospace and industrial markets. Students learned about the latest computer-aided design software and analysis tools utilized in Amphenol’s material evaluation lab and the multi-million-dollar solar farm the company works on, which is now the largest solar farm project in New York State. The presentation concluded with team members discussing the benefits of being an Amphenol employee including work, life, balance; salary; flexible work environment and a good location in Syracuse, New York. This is the first time Amphenol has been to the campus.
