Alumni, family and friends of Vaughn gathered with faculty, staff and advisory board members to usher in the holiday season and toast the New Year on Thursday, December 6. Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and music by Vaughn’s music club complemented the festivities. He currently works as a team lead for Cyient Inc. with his background in aerospace, aircraft and mechanical engineering and is a frequent guest speaker at Vaughn.

Other alumni included Beant Singh ’12 who studied electrical engineering technology with an avionics concentration at Vaughn, Muhammad Noman ’16 project engineer Blackhawk (S70i) at Sikorsky Lockheed Martin Corporation and Margarita Cholakova ’14 who studied aircraft operations and is now a pilot at Republic Airways.

College President Dr. Sharon B. DeVivo welcomed all alumni and friends.

“We really enjoy opportunities like this where Vaughn has the chance to show our appreciation to our supporters and we hope to continue this tradition every year,” said Michael Brady, assistant vice president of Institutional Advancement.
